Loyal TRESemmé users inspired by new discoveries through a change in package design.  

 

This expressive typography University project focused on creating
a response to David Carson's work. Reflecting on a typography designer’s work and then responding with an expansion in my own work was enlightening as a designer. 

 

In response to David Carson's work I decided to create a package design
for TRESemmé. My observations of his style in the hair product package design included: a variety of type scale, colour contrast as well as the use of black and white, consistently overlapping text and letters, and distorted or lost words. Translating Carson’s layout style to a package design was a challenging response.
