I believe the role of the graphic designer is to capture a specific design that will connect the organization’s vision to their targeted audience’s emotion. 

 

My design degree from Alberta University of the Arts, focused on the creative thinking process that would produce multiple, unique ideas. This learning environment created opportunities for my personal creative style and intuition to evolve.

 

I enjoy designing work that has a tactile or an experiential element; combining texture and depth with pattern, and geometric shapes. Colours have been a natural part of expressing myself long before I understood its full impact on design. I believe colour schemes have a strong impact in meaning and trigger an emotion in us. 

 

My inspiration often comes from my Interaction with my environment,
and our need to protect it. I enjoy finding ways to present circular and environmental design concepts to encourage environmental awareness.
